51 Battery Street is an 18th century townhouse inside the walled city of Valletta which has been tastefully converted into very spacious one bedroom suites.

The suites have modern bathrooms and kitchens but otherwise the orignal layout and features have been maintained. Both the first floor and second floor suites have luxuriously high ceilings with wooden beams together with classical Maltese painted tile floors so characteristic of period Valletta townhouses.

The entrance to the house is on the steps of Battery Street which is a quiet pedestrianised street that leads from St Barbara's Bastions and the charming British Hotel, to the Upper Barraka Gardens.

The facade of the building is on St Anthony's Bastion which towers above the mediterranean to offer spectacular panoramic views from the open sea and breakwater to the old dockyard creeks deep inside the Grand Harbour.

In both suites the bedroom and sitting room enjoy direct views over the harbour.  Each suite also has a balcony, ideal for al fresco dining.  The hallway, bathroom and kitchen open on to the Battery Street steps allowing a pleasant breeze to flow through the building.
