I've been fortunate to have spent time staying in both of these beautiful apartments. Having lived in Malta previously, I was searching for a place that had that quintessential Maltese character and made me feel 'at home' again. I couldn't believe my luck! Both apartments are fantastic if you want to feel like a local, and are furnished and equipped with everything you will need for your home away from home. I loved the wonderful blue and white crockery, which is made by the de Trafford family (check out the shop in Attard!), and the Art Deco dressing table in the upper apartment. I loved the stepped street from which you enter, and the views over it from the kitchen and bathroom windows. Here you will certainly get a flavour of Valletta life! And the views on the other side...what can I say..I watched the QE2 come into the Grand Harbour one morning, from my bed! Stepping out in the mornings for coffee in front of St. John's Cathedral! I could go on! Finally, thanks to Fleur, and to her uncle Anthony before her. They were both great hosts. I can't recommend No. 51 Battery Street highly enough, and I hope to be back very soon.

El piso es ideal incluso para estancias largas puesto que está totalmente equipado con todo tipo de electrodomésticos ( horno, microondas, lavadora... televisión, minicadena, dvd...) Las expectativas anunciadas por internet corresponden con la realidad. Es un piso muy amplio y agradable además de muy luminoso. Las vistan dan al puerto de Valetta. Está muy cuidado y limpio! La ubicación es perfecta, muy céntrica y a pocos minutos de la parada de autobús que conecta la capital con cualquier otra ciudad. Los propietarios son muy receptivos desde el primer momento si tienes dudas o necesitas más información acerca de cosas concretas sobre Malta. El precio merece la pena para la calidad del alojamiento!

What a Holiday. What a view. What wonderful hosts. Thank you Jasper and Fleur for creating such a beautiful, atmospheric and well appointed apartment from which to explore the historic alleyways and imperial grandeur of Valetta and beyond. Your warmth and hospitality was only matched by the stunning balcony views of the Grand Harbour. Thank you too for your formidable local knowledge of the Island. I thought you were joking about the old law preventing fresh milk being sold within Valetta's city walls... (the milk stall is just outside Valetta's main gate in the central bus terminus for those of you wondering!) After only five days, we really fell in love with your flat and Valetta. The accommodation was also extremely good value for money to boot! Both of my daughters keep asking when we'll return. 'Soon' is always the reply. See you both soon and thanks again.

Hello Fleur & Jasper. We would just like to say how delighted we were by the apartment when we stayed there at the beginning of November. It was absolutely perfect - full of character, spacious, clean & comfortable - & what a fantastic situation! The street outside with its steps is picturesque & of course traffic free. The views from the sitting room & bedroom over the Grand Harbour are spectacular. The weather was so warm we could sleep with the full-length windows wide open & eat breakfast on the balcony admiring the scenery. We could walk easily to the many attractions & restaurants in Valletta & to the bus station for trips to other parts of the island. This was our first visit to Malta but there is so much more to see we shall have to return - and we'll definitely stay in one of your apartments.
